Blogger Style Challenge

This morning I woke up to an email from House of Fraser inviting me to take part in the Blogger Style Challenge, which comes with a £200 HOF voucher prize.

I like creating fantasy outfits anyway so I figured it would be a fun post to do and a chance to have a browse through the HOF site and see what they have to offer. You may remember my entry from the Asos styling challenge recently.

Although there was no price limit I decided to set myself one and make an outfit for £200 so I could show you the kind of outfit you could buy with the prize money. It turned out to be quite a bit harder than I thought, but I really wanted to stick to my self-made constraints and this is what I came up with.

This is totally the kind of outfit I would wear myself. My favourite parts are definately the dress which is a simple and flattering shape but with an unusual collar and lovely textured material. I also adore the woven boots and have had my eye on these for a while so I was very happy to see them on the HOF website.

If I hadn't wanted to stick to a £200 budget I would have added a whole lot more jewellery, I like to load up my wrists with bracelets and wear chunky rings.

What I like best about this outfit is that it is casual enough to wear in the day but would still be ok if you had to go straight out to a meal or bar in the evening.
